Love to sing and want to be part of the program? Join the pick-up choir and lend your voice to a joyful rendition of “A Bridge is Stronger Than a Wall” A short rehearsal will be held at Grace University Lutheran Church at 6 PM on the day of the event. Sign up here. We ask that members of the pick up choir purchase a ticket.
Funds raised will support the construction of a production facility to house workshops for students and graduates of Let Africa Live. Let Africa Live (Laissez l’Afrique Vivre or LAV) is a Congolese non-profit that provides job skill training and psychosocial support to vulnerable youth, including victims of war, former child soldiers, victims of sexual abuse and survivors of violence. Mwendo Congo is a 501(c)3 organization, so your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent under the law. As an all-volunteer organization, we are able to keep our expenses very low. Over the last 2 years, over 97% of all donations have been dedicated directly to our projects in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
